MERGE joins forces with the sister project FlowCat, which focuses on knowledge transfer and exchange among its partners about best practices in catalytic processes and continuous (flow) production of valuable compounds from bio-based raw materials.
FlowCat aims to improve and stimulate the scientific excellence and innovation capacity of the University of Ljubljana (UL) staff in the field of catalysis and continuous (flow) production. They aim in fostering Research and Innovation collaboration and increasing the creativity and mobility (incoming and outgoing) of qualified scientists. Moreover, among the priority goals is strengthening the research management and administration capacities and skills of UL researchers and research supporting staff.
MERGE aims to collaborate with relevant projects, to promote innovation in widening countries and increase the MERGE outreach. Hence, synergies are being developed between MERGE and FlowCat. The collaboration of the two projects will cross-promote their activities through joint communication actions utilising the projects’ websites and social media. The projects will also explore the potential of jointly attending workshops and organising external events focused on twinning actions.
